A contemporary bistro located in the heart of Cleckheaton. Established in the Spring of 2018 in the George Hotel, a locally famous mid 19th century former hotel and home of well-known ghost stories.
Proving immediately popular since its opening, George's Bistro has witnessed many changes and expansions such as the opening of the Wine Bar and the upstairs function and events room located in the Mead Hall.
However, despite exponential growth, our loyalty and dedication to providing a top-quality experience to our valued customers has always remained a priority.

The George provides unique dishes crafted using the freshest ingredients from reputable local suppliers. Knowing the farmers personally, we have every confidence in all of our products. The a la carte menu consists of original concepts as well as twists on classics, and we integrate new, imaginative dishes every week on our specials menu. The George is a place to expect new experiences and reminisce about the classics.
